About

Audrey is a Mexican American artist and community educator born and raised in Northwest Arkansas. She is currently a Master of Arts Candidate in Art Education at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville and works full-time as the Coordinator of Student Recruitment for the School of Art. In her roles, she distributes information and resources surrounding access to art – specifically opportunities to engage in arts programming, creative possibilities, and community engagement in our region. Her current research explores how to disrupt cycles of exclusion to include historically absent identities in local art spaces.

Audrey’s artwork offers a new interpretation on the intimate experiences observed from others while disrupting the spaces and realities they exist in. Her paintings reflect her interest in addressing qualities of the people she loves and the emotions they exude.
